Gateway connections
Connect your gateways. Choose which one takes payments.
Keep your own accounts with Razorpay, Cashfree, Stripe and 14 other gateways. Connect them once in your dashboard, pick one for each currency, and switch whenever you want, without changing your website or app.
Switching
One gateway per currency. You decide which.
Switching takes two clicks on the Gateways page of your dashboard: turn the current gateway off, then turn the other one on. Your next payment goes through the new gateway.
- Only one gateway takes payments in each currency at a time.
- A gateway you turn off keeps its saved details, ready for when you switch back.
- Your website or app doesn’t change. It keeps calling ZopPay the same way.
Example. Try it: turn off Razorpay, then turn on Cashfree.
INR payments
One gateway takes INR payments at a time

| Cashfree | Live | Off | |
| PhonePe | Live | Off | |
| PayU | Live | Off |
Next INR payment: Razorpay
How it works
How a payment finds its gateway.
The same rules apply to every payment you create, whether from your website, your app or the API.
The API key sets the mode
A test key always uses ZopPay’s built-in test gateway, so no real money moves. A live key uses a gateway you connected.
The currency picks the gateway
For each currency you turn on one gateway. A payment in rupees goes to your rupee gateway; a payment in dollars goes to your dollar gateway.
Your customer pays on its page
ZopPay sends your customer to that gateway’s secure payment page and brings them back to your site afterwards.
Refunds go back the same way
A refund always goes through the gateway that took the payment, even if you have switched since.
Good to know
What switching doesn’t do. Yet.
Automatic routing Coming soon
ZopPay doesn’t yet pick a gateway for each payment by cost or success rate. Today the gateway you turned on takes every payment in that currency.
No automatic fallback
If your gateway has an outage, ZopPay doesn’t move payments to another gateway or retry them elsewhere. You can switch by hand in the dashboard at any time.
Gateway details aren’t checked with the gateway
When you save a gateway’s keys, ZopPay checks that nothing is missing or mistyped and that test and live keys aren’t mixed up. The first real payment confirms they work. Saved keys are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM).
