Accounts that moved over from the earlier ZopPay can keep creating payment links and QR codes the way they always have. For new accounts they are coming soon, and they aren’t in the dashboard or the API yet.

Links and QR codes work through the same ZopPay calls as before the move. A link opens a page that shows what will be paid, with a Pay button. It lasts 2 days unless you choose otherwise (from 5 minutes up to 30 days), and you can cancel it.

New accounts, today

Share a checkout link.

When your system creates a payment through the API, it gets back a checkout link. You can send that link to your customer instead of redirecting them.

  • The customer pays on your gateway’s secure page, just as with hosted checkout.
  • A checkout link lasts 30 minutes, so it suits a customer who is paying now, not an invoice paid next week.
  • It needs a developer: there is no button in the dashboard to make one for a customer.

    Send a link with an invoice and get paid with the methods your gateway offers.

  • Selling over chat

    Share a link in a message when there is no cart to check out from.

  • At the counter

    Show a QR code at a counter or on delivery, and the customer pays from their phone.
